Drop Ship business is where you fulfil and deliver a product to an end customer without physical owning any inventories. You simply act as a middle man and profit from the differences in your selling price and your product and delivery cost. A 3rd party supplier will actually fulfil your order and ship it to your customer without him/her noticing it.

I have being doing dropshipping on various platforms like Ebay and Qoo10 since 2016 and have being fairly profitable so far. I wouldn’t say it is easy as the barrier of entry is very low so any Tom, Dick and Harry can jump on the money train and be your competitor. However, once you are willing to put in the hard work and understand the concept behind it, there are still alot of opportunities, especially in the ASEAN region.

It really depends on which channel or platforms are you using. Most of the time, if you are using your own channel like website, it is better to setup your own company to build trust for your brand especially if you are accepting payments in your site. If you want to save time, you can consider getting a turnkey dropshipping store according to your preferences here.
However, if you are using platforms like Ebay, Qoo10, Lazada or Shopee, you do not need to register a business and you can sell products as an individual seller.
Where Can I Find Dropshipping Suppliers
The most common suppliers used by dropshippers are mostly in China. You can fly down there to attend their tradeshows and find potential suppliers that can help you dropship when you have sales.

From my understanding now, both selling on lazada and shopee is free as you do not have to pay a single cent to setup an online store with them. It is free when you are listing items and you can list as many as you want. However, shopee do have a limit on how many items you can list if you are a new seller.
You only start paying them a small fee when you start selling an item which is really zero start up cost. This is one of the best ways to tap into millions of hungry buyers without spending any marketing dollars
If you prefer to set up your own eCommerce store, you can also utilise the Shopify free trial program. It is possible to to make a couple of sales while on trial and use the profits to pay for the monthly subscription and grow your eCommerce business.

Based on this simple research, you will be able to find a number of sellers carrying this product in Aliexpress. You will also be able to do a smart guess on how much margin you can make and how much you should sell to be competitive in Shopee. You can also do this for marketplace.
